📍 LocationThe celebration will be held at Kitty O’Reillys Irish Pub, primarily in Kitty's Hideaway Bar (back bar). 👗 Dress Code Dressy Casual / Daytime AttireThink beachy chic—light &amp; comfortable outfits like summer dresses, linen, &amp; button-ups. Things to Do

The first time I met Mathew, he was dating one of my co-workers. Months went by after the break up &amp; I had seen his profile on Tinder; this lead to me "Super-Liking" him hoping we would match... &amp; we did but nothing ever came from it. It was St. Patrick's Day Weekend 2019 when he had ordered a round of shots for him &amp; his friends. The bartender/friend I was working with (Liz) decided to play "match-maker" and let Mathew know I was into him. This seemed to come as a shock to him and he wanted to know why I didn't say something sooner. With as busy as it was, I decided to take matters into my own hands &amp; add my number to the bottom of his receipt.

Where We Met

Date #1 was the following weekend.... I was invited out on a "triple-date", and as much as I was excited to spend the time with Mathew, I was extremely hung over and I wouldn't say sushi was the best place to bring me... Let's just say it wasn't the best first impression on my end. Date #2 was another group date which ended in Mathew disappointed thinking I wasn't interested; yet I was tired from all the hours I worked the week before.... A couple of days went by, and I caught wind that he didn't see a connection between us. I convinced him to give me one more chance but this time a date just the two of us this time. Third time's the charm right? Date #3 was at Dal Santos and we hit it off exactly as I expected. He told me stories about his life &amp; continued to make me laugh through out the night. I knew I was going to fall for this guy after date 3. He had a bad breakup that he was still a little skepical of me at first. After our date he came back to meet my very stubborn dog, Kazu, who instantly loved him. Which was a sign to me all on its own. The next few weeks seemed to blur together as we continued to spend more time together. We eventually brought Tucker into the picture to meet Kazu to make sure they would get along. Now Kazu was used to being an only child and there was definitely some jealousy at first. But in the end these two LOVE each other.

6 months flew by, and he was already basically living with me... His room at his parents was mostly just where he kept his clothes that we couldn't fit into my closet. We hadn't been together for a full year yet, but my family loved him, and he received an invite to be my date at my mom's wedding in 2020. He joked the whole time that I wouldn't be able to leave him since he was in all the family wedding photos.

Mathew knows how to make me laugh and cheer me up when I need it. He's always been my biggest supporter even the times he doesn't always agree with my decisions. He is my rock and life without him by my side just wouldn't be the same. He took his sweet time proposing but I knew there was no one else out there for me.

November 19th Mathew begged me to go on a walk with him despite my fuss about not wanting to go. I had NO idea what he had planned.Once we hit Memorial Drive, I tried to turn to go home which led to an argument about why we HAD to keep going. He finally gave up knowing how stubborn I am; he told me I would have to be the one to tell the ten people waiting for us that I went home... To this comment I said what do you mean, are you proposing or something... His silence said it ALL! I was still in shock if he was kidding or not and continued with him to the fountain our dogs love to jump in. I was confused to not see anyone over there, but they were all hiding. He got down on one knee &amp; I was still in shock. The ring was GORGEOUS and I couldn't imagine a better partner to get to share my life with.
